Report of the Autumn Show September 2025

Overall a successful show with 37 people entering a total of 85 classes.  There were 250 entries in total.

It was good to see some new members and non-members entering the Show for the first time, and great to see them win, alongside those who seem to manage it time and time again.  A lot of effort is made.

Although the weather has been difficult for many to grow anything this year, many were able to produce some flowers and vegetables for the table.  The handicrafts were less this time, but the quality was excellent. 

Many are beginning to enter the home economics classes, giving our Judge a hard time.  She tastes everything!  A great result for the year with Lawrence Arnold winning.

We were delighted to have Alison Reynolds present our awards and trophies and she made special mention of what a great community organisation that we are.
